Aeramy K. Porter brings more than two decades of experience in estate, retirement, life insurance, and investment planning to every client relationship at Paulseen Financial Group. A 1993 graduate of Wichita Collegiate School, she earned her B.A. in Economics from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California, before beginning her career at the home office of New York Life Insurance Company in New York City.
In 2001, Aeramy returned to Wichita to join her father, Ron Paulseen, in building the practice that bears the family name. She holds the Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC)® and Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designations®, and is a Member Agent of The Nautilus Group® — An exclusive resource for an elite group of approximately 200 experienced professionals committed to advanced estate, business, and philanthropic planning for high net worth clients. She holds lifetime membership in the Million Dollar Round Table and has earned a place at the Top of the Table, placing her among an elite group of producers recognized for the highest levels of client service and production worldwide.
Aeramy's approach is holistic and macro-focused — helping clients ensure their assets go where they intend, rather than where the government would direct them. She specializes in life insurance, retirement planning, and estate and transition strategies developed in close collaboration with each client's legal and tax advisors.
A committed member of the Wichita community, Aeramy has served as a board member on the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the Northeast YMCA, and Kidzcope, and is also currently an active board member for NYLARC, an agent-owned reinsurance company.
Aeramy has been married to Tyler since 2006. They have two children, Trip and Hadley, who are their favorite people in the world!
*The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), The Premier Association of Financial Professionals, is recognized globally as the standard of excellence for life insurance sales performance in the insurance and financial services industry.

Tyler Porter's path to financial planning runs through entrepreneurship, academia, and public accounting — a combination that gives him a distinctly practical edge when working with business owners and high-achieving individuals.
After graduating from Wichita State University, Tyler founded and operated a successful financing company in Denver, Colorado. Following the sale of that business, he returned to school at Kansas State University, earning a degree in Accounting. He then spent four years with PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG before joining a regional firm in Wichita. Tyler joined Paulseen Financial Group in 2010.
His depth in corporate and personal finance — from business succession and exit planning to executive benefit design — means clients benefit from someone who has lived the business side of the equation, not just studied it. Tyler brings a proprietary, process-driven approach to helping individuals and business owners retain more of their working capital in a tax-efficient manner.
Tyler's areas of focus include estate planning, retirement strategies, life insurance, and investment planning — with particular depth in the business planning and tax efficiency work that defines his approach.

Kasica Blick's connection to Paulseen Financial Group goes back nearly two decades — she was part of the team in the early days of her career, before setting out on a path that would span more than two decades in healthcare administration. That journey has now come full circle, and we're thrilled to have her back.
Kasica brings more than 20 years of experience in some of the most demanding operational environments in healthcare — including serving as Facility Administrator for an ambulatory surgery center, VP of Quality and Medical Staff Services at Rock Regional Hospital, and most recently as Rural Medical Education Hub Director at Kansas Health Science University. In each role she was responsible for financial oversight, HR management, vendor relationships, compliance, and patient and client experience — skills that translate directly into what matters most here: managing complex processes, building lasting relationships, and ensuring every client interaction is handled with care and precision.
Kasica holds an MBA in Business Administration from Newman University and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Kansas.

In 1972, a young man from Lindsborg, Kansas signed a contract with New York Life Insurance Company and set up a practice in Wichita. He didn't know it then, but he was building something that would last more than half a century.
"Numbers change, but the concepts always stay the same."
Ron Paulseen founded this practice on a simple conviction: that complex financial ideas, when explained clearly, could change the course of a family's future. That belief shaped everything — how he worked with clients, how he trained the people around him, and ultimately how he raised his children.
Over five decades, Ron built a record that few in his profession have matched. He maintained membership in New York Life's Chairman's Council every year from 1979 onward — an unbroken streak spanning more than 45 years. He qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table every year of his career, and held a place in the coveted Top of the Table from 1985 forward. In 1991, he was recognized as the #1 Top of the Table producer in all of Wichita.
Beyond the numbers, Ron and his wife Jenny — whom he met as a student at Bethany College — have given generously to the community and institutions they love. Their gifts to Bethany College, their decades of connection to Wichita Collegiate School, and their investment in the people around them speak to a life lived by the same principles he brought to every client relationship.
The practice he founded carries his name because it carries his values. What Aeramy, Tyler, and the team do every day is built on the foundation he laid.
